Ignacio's career has always focused on the improvement of chemical processes. With a chemical engineering degree and master in polymers Ignacio's personal objective is to help industry tackle two of the main problems we face: climate change and plastic waste. Having worked in various chemical companies (ICI, AkzoNobel, Nouryon and Shell Chemicals), in his actual role in ICCA as Co-Chairman for the Climate Change and Energy Group, Ignacio provides support to the different regions to develop the right policies that will help the chemical industry reduce their carbon footprint and move towards carbon neutrality.
